"The most eccentric-looking wizard… Slightly cross-eyed, with shoulder-length white hair the texture of candyfloss, he wore a white cap whose tassel dangled in front of his nose and robes of an eye-watering shade of egg-yolk yellow. An odd symbol, rather like a triangular eye, glistened from a golden chain around his neck."
This week we focus on Osh-Tisch, whose name translates to “Finds Them and Kills Them” in Crow. Osh-Tisch was a male-bodied person who lived as a woman, and was one of the last Crow Nation baté (Two Spirit spiritual leaders) – oh, and you can be sure, she earned her name.
She is also far from the only awesome lady in this story.
Jason Stackhouse’s actor opened his mouth to speak and I didn’t even realize it was him! He does the American farmboy accent so well that I had no idea it wasn’t natural to him.
Anyone who hasn’t watched this, really should. That whole skit with Lafayette, Sookie, and Arlene was improv’d!
These people are why I like the show…
I KEEP GETTING THIS MAYBE I SHOULD WATCH GAME OF THRONES
I feel like a lot of people would mean that as an insult, but I can’t read it in any tone except complimentary. Because she’s amazing.
